I am planning on building a new A-frame. I think i'd like to go with an aluminum frame instead of 2x4. I was wondering if anyone has done this and could pass along some tips and or pics as to what thickness alum. tubing you used for strength, what you used to hinge the top and what you found to be best to attach the wood to the frame? Thanks for any info you can pass along.

Sorry for the double pic. This is the best pic I could find of ours. Club member built it and it is very light and one of the firmest jumps I have ever seen. If you want PM me I will have him contact you.
