Below are all the e-mails we exchanged (I deleted digits in the phone numbers myself). There is not a doubt in my mind that this guy is trying to scam me, just letting everyone else know to be careful.

Hello Mr. Ronald,

I am not going to transfer any money to you. Nor am I going to give my bank account information to you. You said you had received CASH from that "Security Company." If that is the case, I don't understand why you wouldn't use that cash to pay for your ticket. I've already told you that you can pay less for the dog when you come down here. In fact, if the ticket costs 320 Euros, as you said, I'll lower the price for that dog to 4,680 Euros, so you won't run out of cash. If you're really interested in the dog, you can do that.

Regards,

18.
Hello Woda,
I understand you and i think that ok and fine by me but the issue wasnt like that the company gave me part of the payment on tuesday...I was told by the Managing Director of the company to come along with the Krakow flight ticket tomorrow for the Balance of Yukon....The Amount i was paid now was 4000 euro remains 1060 to collect from the company and before i can get the money i have to show the M.D of the company my Air ticket to Krakow...I cant go back to the company to inform them that i needed 320 euro to balance up the airfair. They may cancelled the Contarct..All you just need to do now is to send me the 150 euro so that i can get the ticket right now.call me so that we can discuss better.waiting for your calll.

19.
You told me on the phone you had got 5,000 from that company. That means you either lied then or you're lying now, or, what's most likely, you are just trying to scam me for money. So don't e-mail me anymore.

I will admit he went to great lengths to do this: he called me and tried to be as convincing as possible.

Obviously the guy wanted to earn 150 Euros in the beginning and then found that you got bit softened so he tried to squeeze more out of you. Nice plan but didnt work out in the end.

Yes it is a scam and has been going on in the USA also, Every day someone here, gets a e call or an email answering ad in local paper, usually the larger cities and would not believe how many breeders and people fall for this....

Some even go so far, as to mail Money orders and Cashiers checks that are bogus but look real....If your bank doesnt catch it and you deposit it..your sunk...

Unbelieveably, I actually know someone in my parents village who was caught by the lottery win scam by telephone.  He is not on line and when someone rang him up and told him he had won millions on a Lottery he had never entered and all he had to do was send them £500 to process it, the silly sod actually borrowed the money from a bank and sent it!   He kept quiet because he was warned there would be a risk of "publicity when he got his money" would you believe!, but eventually got so excited about it, he spilled the beans to my parents.  Amazingly, since they are not on line either, they had never heard of this scam before, but thought it sounded a bit fishy and told me about it, but he had sent the money by then.  Obviously he never got his millions and never got his £500 back.  The gullability of greedy people huh!
