Anybody else get an e-mail inquiry for a dog advertised here from a Joe Martens? Wants to pay with "Bank Cheque", send his "Assistant" to pick up the dog? Marginal written English/grammer, suspicious terminology?

Shelley, don't walk away from this deal... RUN away.  Could be legit, but waaaay too similar to the classic "Nigerian" scams.

Shelly,

I just got this email too!  I always mess with them just for entertainment value!  I have received to date 2 bogus checks for $2300 and another for $4000.  I always call the bank they are drawn on and check to make sure and they always are!  One was for 1300 over the amount of purchase and the other was 2300 over the amount of purchase!  Just starting a fun collection!  LOL!!  Funny though the lady said she was from England and the check came addressed from Spring Texas and the check was drawn on a bank in Wichita Kansas!  BOGUS FOR SURE!  And it was funny how they did not contact me to get their dog or CHECK!!  I wonder who really falls for these scams anymore?
