As I said, I am selling My Pups as Family Pets, No Breeding Rights. I have taken everyone here's comments very seriously, And would never want to add to Problems with The GSD Breed I love so Much.
Now, I have said I have never sold prfessionally, all But 2 of My Boys are spoken for. We go to the Vet on Monday For Health Certs, Shots, And I have told My Vet, PICK THEM APART, If You find ANYTHING... ANYTHING AT ALL Put it on the Paper.
That being said. I need help with what to give to people in Writing...
Such as I see many require New Owners to take the Pup to their own Vet within a Certain Time.
What is a fair timeframe?
What other than the obvious seriously Ill, Deadly Disease... Would warrant them being unhappy?
All Males have 2 little Fuzzy Knockers already! I assume that's good.
They have great Poopie, Tootsie rolls!
I am feeding Eukanuba Large breed Puppy along with a treat once a day of White Rice, Lightly Browned still pink in the middle Ground Chuck mixed with raw Chicken Leg Meat, Fresh Steamed Greenbeans, Peas, And a Little Pumpkin cause that Poopie eating is GROSS!! And it really did work, Another pointer I got reading here!!
Can or Would Anyone give me suggestions? What do I Guarentee? I now I would take any Pup back truthfully for any reason, As I don't want one of My Babies anywhere they will not be loved.
I would sure be grateful if Y'all could help Me out with some sort of Contract???
Here are the Babies now!!
They sure change colors alot these Sables!! It's so neat to watch!! And Thanks again to everyone who have been so kind,
And even to those whom were brutally Honest.

Awe, such sweet little faces. How could someone not love em? From what I've read on other's puppy contracts I've seen some require the pup be taken to their vet within 48 hours, others give a little longer. I'd say the 48 hour mark to assure that the pup was indeed checked out and healthy when it left your home. I've seen other's state in their contract in order to guarantee hips they must have the pup pre limbs done and then OFA'd at 2 years.
As for why anyone would want to return a pup other than health reasons....that could be anything from their personal situation has changed and they can no longer provide for the dog-moving, divorce, serious illness ect. Could be the dog is too active for them and they do not know how or have the time to properly train it, maybe they have small children and it's turned out to be a not so good idea to have a pup....be prepared for whatever excuse is out there. lol But IMO most people get so attached to their animals that even when they are a pain in the rear they figure out a way to cope and deal with it.
Good Luck, they are totally loveable.

Hi April,
I love your pups, they're beautiful
I have a contract that I think is rather simple & to the point, and I think I covered all the bases,
My recent big change to my contract is that If for any reason you decide within the first 3 weeks you don't
want puppy anymore, return the pup back to me for a full refund of the purchase price.
I had a lady that tried very hard to find something wrong with her pup, she checked it for EVERYTHING,
and finally after changing the pups diet about 4 times in the 5 weeks she had her, she told me it had
intestinal problems, and it was my responsibility to do something about it.
Then I said, I will take puppy back and refund you your money, she was like, really?......
When she brought puppy back, the pup was on Hill's Prescription Diet, the vet. put her on
Metronidazole, Prednisone. And to top it off, she drives 3 hours to my house to give pup back
and says, I haven't fed her since the day before yesterday, so she wouldn't have any accidents.
With all the blood tests she did on the pup, it was overdue on it's next set of booster shots!
Thanks for letting me vent, I wanted to strangle that lady, but she got her money back with a smile,
you can't fix stupid!
I fed & watered pup right away,(My dog Food) and my son took her for a walk around the block, and brought a bag to
clean up after her, and guess what, she pooped normal, amazing!
Her name is Bailey von Xander, she was rehomed to a nice young couple and renamed Stella.
They love her to pieces!
Here's the pup 4 days after I had her back, then a pic of her in her new home,
You can see a sample copy of my contract at www.vonryansgermanshepherds.com
Hope that helps
