and it was awesome!!

he did really great, i don't even know where to begin...lol..

since i had never brought him around strange dogs before, my first big worry was that he wouldnt be able to get along with them...he behaved wonderfully!!...all he wanted to do was sniff butt and play with them. the one and only time he showed a little bit of aggression towards another dog was when the othe dog jumped up on me...boss growled and snapped then, but on for second...he got over it very quickly and was back to his happy self. I felt embarrassed and bad about it, but the owner of the other dog said not to worry, that it was her own fault for letting her dog get to close to me, she said that wasn't aggression, that was him protecting me...

we started out with BO...and of course boss acted like he forgot everthing i taught him...lol...all he wanted to do was sniff around when he was suppose to be heeling, but they said that was normal for a dog that wasnt use to being in strange places with so many new dogs around....even one of the trained dogs was doing the same thing, he wasn't use to so many dogs in his yard...lol.  he did do his sits and downs good, was just more intrested in sniffing than heeling when i walked  him...then, when my turn was over and i took him to the side of the yard, he immeditately went potty...lol...no wonder he was sniffin so much, guess he thought i was taking him on a potty walk...at least he did'nt pop a squat right in front of everyone, cause it wasn't pretty...

then they started the on agitation and bitework...boss LOVED it.....he barked his head off...never backed away, it took both my husband and I with two leashes to hold him...(my entire body was sore by time i got home)...it was hard to keep him from turning flips, he loves to jump in the air after stuff, he did flip a couple times but it never fazed him he got right back up and was after it again...he got quite a few bites on the rag...then they got out the sleeve and he got a lot of bites on that too....when everyone was wore out and it was time to take a break, boss was still ready to go...lol...the trainer looked at him and said..' he's having fun, he's not ready to quit...that dog would probably bite till he died if we let him'...

oh yeah, the only thing he was unsure about was the whip, he did'nt tuck his tail or anything like that, ....he just did'nt know what to think about it....the trainer said that was ok , that he could easily be conditioned for it...

but all in all, it was a great day, i just wish i had brought my camera....boss got all KINDS of compliments...they said they were very impressed with everything about him, his looks, his drives...at one point i heard the trainer say i'd have that dog on my team anyday.....he said we were blessed with him and i agree.....lol...

anyway, sorry about the long post, just alot of things i am excited about...im very proud of my boy and just wanted to share with everyone...

lol...i thought it was called BO...(Basic Obedience) ...i know i've read lines before that said something like..." my dogs BO is bad" and i would think the same thing...(the dog stinks?)...but then i figured that BO meant basic obedience..guess i was wrong...lol..must have just been typo's...oops
