Hi everyone,
A buyer has contacted me through e-mail, i've asked him what he was looking for, and whether he was interested in only a pet or possible breeding. This person seems to not have good intention for my pups. i just want others opinnions on whether im reading his messages wrong. i do not what to be scamed

Hi,i wanted to give you the details on a mini dachshund pups.
We have 4 pups available currently, 2 Females and 2 males. We have both
long and smooth coats, do you have a preference? i have a web site with
both pictures of puppies and parents, please take a look:
www.geocities.com/gill5713/dachshunds.html
We are asking for $450 w/ spay and neuter contracts for pet homes only.
pups come with 2year genetic guarantee for 2years, current shots,
micro-chipping by AVID, pedigree, puppy packet.
pups are UKC registered and you will receive the pups papers when the

Hi,
Which pup did you want, we have two females one black/tan and shaded
red, both are long hair.
Are you buying the pup with spay and neuter or with breeding rights? Is
the pup going to reside with you in New York or is she being shipped
elsewhere? I do not mined breeding homes, but they have to be GOOD
homes. I do not sell pups to third parties.
I will send you both contracts, spay/neuter and breeding contracts.
Name, address is on the them. Please fax the contract back right away,
the fax # is

something smells.

I'm with TwoMoons. Sounds like a check scam to me, though I'm no expert on such things. Horrible grammar / writing skills... even for a New Yorker

Please let me know what your intention are with the pup.
I will not sell any pup until i know where it is going to live and for
what purpose you are buying the pup. I would also want the contracts
signed and faxed to me before any payment is made
thankyou,
this is all that has been said so far

Yet another Nigerian Scam.
This has been going around for a while.
Run. Fast. You'll cash that check, give him the difference, and your bank will be after you because it's a fake.
This is a scam.

Every time you can tell that this is a scam ! They do not speak proper English, and say things like "will like "
Or anytime they say they are using someone else to collect the money or ship, HARDLY EVER do you have to pay for shipping upfront, you usually ship C.O.D.
by kioanes on 06 February 2008 - 00:02
it's an old scam. don't waste your time corresponding further with them. if you cash the check, and give them the remainder, they get cash and you will be contacted by the bank about a bad check which YOU will have to repay. and your puppy will be with scammers.
i shudder to think what happens to the puppies ...

Well what worried me was that he never mentioned the exact pup he wanted, All he wanted to do was pay for it, he never responed to what/why he was getting the pup for.
we i guess i have a scammer on my hands thanks everyone.

One Word.... SCAM
SHIPPING AGENTS
I LIKE TO KNOW
TELL YOU HOW THE MONEY WILL COME... I tell my people HOW you WILL pay me if you want one of my pups.
Anything like this is bad news. Anyone with serious interest will be happy to tell you HOW the dog will be cared for, what they want, their concerns, and ask HOW to send you the money and WHAT guarantee you have. Most people ask EVEN though you said they have a guarantee for 2 years... it is like they want to be sure about X or Y...
Anyone that wants to PAY MORE... tell them to take a hike!

There is no if's, and's or but's about this. This is a scam.
They do this to those who advertise for sale dogs, cats, horses, tractors, vehicles, etc. It's been around for years now.
Next they'll be telling you all about the medical needs of the sick and dying relative or child, the educational needs of a child, etc. They stop at nothing.
Don't respond. Don't sell.
