  It was a joke, a satire if you will, of some of the messages I have seen posted on this message board.  I used one in particular as an example, but there are many more that I could have used as well.   It was meant to express my concern about these messages in a humorous way.  I thought it was clear that I was indeed joking, and I thought it was funny, but I have been told before that I have an odd sense of humor, so perhaps it was not clear.

I apologize for any confusion that I may have caused.  Also, to be perfectly clear my dog is NOT being PTS.  Please stop sending e-mails and PMs telling me that you would be happy to take him.

It was a bit hard to demonstrate the aim for him but he's a pretty smart boy.  I think the cat actually gave him the idea.

What I find incredibly interesting is that everyone is so quick to want the dog and be happy to take him; rather then trying to help the person who owns the dog.

I would be afraid to ask an opinion or advice in case someone would rather take my dog then help me!

I do understand this was a joke and not serious.   But what if it was serious?

If it was serious, only the quick thinking would understand?
