Good looking, tell the owner's (is it your parents or inlaws, I forget) that Sadie needs to be trimmed down a bit.  Boss looks a lot better, but his sis could use some trimming down now too.

ahhh! i agree!!...but...she is my mother-in-laws dog...lol, she won't listen to me about that.......she free feeds and i've tried to explain to her/ and others family members around here about hips, but they believe a fat dog is a healthy dog...they all think boss is toooo skinny and that i don't feed him enough---(imagine what they think about me feeding him raw!)..but they think feeding cooked bones is ok....i had to hang a sign on boss's kennel that said 'Please do not feed boss cooked bones"....

whew!  So glad I wasn't the only one that had a question when I read the topic line!  Ha...

...yep, his pigment is better...but sadie does have some awesome penciling that i haven't seen much on other dogs...i don't know if it shows in those pics tho, ill have to recheck...

I'm in the same boat as far as trying to tell the inlaws about their GSD's weight.  She's such a big jooch!  She's about the same size height wise as my male and weighs 20 pounds more.  We've been preaching for years!  Now we are just happy if they keep her under 100 pounds, she should really be about 80, IMO.  Keep telling them, she'll live longer and be more comfortable in her older years.  Plus, she's no spring chicken anymore for such a large overweight dog who doesn't have the greatest conformation!   At least we don't have to see her that often and get all annoyed.  You'd think they'd see the difference when she was with my dogs.  They basically run circles around her.  LOL  she's on the left and my female is on the right.  At one point they were playing tag in the house and my girl was totally effortlessly getting away from her.  Cracked us up.
