Was just wondering if anyone else is experiencing a slow down?

I think it really depends on where you live.  I'm in Michigan and everything is slow right now.  The weather also stinks which doesn't help when people are considering bringing a pup into the house.  Housebreaking ain't easy when it's below zero.

I haven't noticed a slow down on the national level, (a lot of my dogs go south and West) but things are always slow in the winter here in PA because if what Mi GSD mentioned. Come Feb-Mar it picks up.

I think if the housing market stinks, dog sales are not doing too good either!

Nearly everything slows down in a recession. There are few areas that are not affected by a downturn in the economy. Just don't get stuck with a bunch of puppies.

Lets face it. Expensive dogs are luxury items. Less disposable income = lower sales and lower prices. I'm sure glad I'm not sitting on a herd of expensive show horses these days.

Restaurants will always take them.

I'm in the Chicago area and it's deader than a door nail here but then the weather is atrocious too.
