(AKC Registered) German Shepard Stud Dog
Perhaps it is the spelling, that is telling?
by FionaDunne on 02 February 2008 - 20:02
Perhaps, yes. Perhaps that big knot of yellow nylon line tied onto the dog's collar (with the tail of the knot running up into the dog's face) is another indication. Can someone say "clip"?

He goes by the name of Shitan he is an extremly obidiant dog. He is associated With the American Kennel Club. I heve his registration papers fully legal documentation.
Spelling aside... he's only 9 months old

Yet another person deciding to post a young dog, in this case 9 months old, for stud. The dog is AKC registered and I bet the owner does not even know what that means, including the acronym. The owner cannot even spell the breed name correctly. We could forgive that if he did not carry his ignorance farther. The dog has no OFA or other hip and elbow certs, no training, no nothing. Big deal it supposedly comes from K-9 lines. The leash says a lot and I commented on it long ago when it was first posted.
Do you all not see where the breed is headed because of things like this? There ARE mimimum standards one should adhere to if one wants to call themselves an ambassador of the breed. At the very least, hip and elbow certs are in order. At the very least, dogs should NOT be mated at 9 months old. At the very least, one should know how to spell SHEPHERD and yes, spend some of the money one probably already made on studding the dog out on decent training and a leash.
