Hi,

I want to take My Female in for Her OFA X rays.

But My Wonderful Breeder I got My Girl from has told Me to Really Be careful to find a Vet that is experienced in doing these x rays. Was hoping someone here may be able to suggest a Good Veternarian?

When I asked My Current Vet, they looked confused all the while trying to tell Me they  could do it.

I lurk here quite a bit and can tell there are numerous People with great experience, and am hoping someone may be from around here!

She is now 3, and I am considering allowing her to have a litter.  I do not show her, checked into the Schutzhund and realized it's way out of My Price Leauge with 3 Children. But She is a Beautiful Girl, With Great traits I would be proud to pass on. I will be contacting her Breeder for a suitable Male once She gets her OFA.

Thanks for any Information In Advance.

Sorry, I should say her Breeder, Whom Is The Nicest Person I have EVER dealt with Was Heidi Theis.

She has been wonderful, even 3 years later answers every e mail, Comments on every photo I send.

All around WONDERFUL Person to deal with.

Sherry,

Use Beverly Brimacombe DVM in Lakeland. She is a breeder vet for many years and has done many, many OFA X-Rays!

Good Luck!

Just a question.. with 3 children do you have the time to raise the puppies for 8 weeks? Are you prepared to take any back at any time if they are no longer wanted?  Please check out www.petfinder.com and look at all the wonderful German shepherds that came from loving homes...do you still want to breed?

just my 2 cents

K9

I absolutely do.

I am a stay at home Mom. My Daughter is going off to college, My Son is 16, And has his own busy life.

My Youngest whom I adopted is in Kindergarten, and Extremely Intelligent, and Independent

This is why I have waited. But I thank You for Your concern.

By the way, I would never put My Girl's Babies on that place :(

I have nice acreage here, And a Huge Home.

So it would not bother me a bit to keep any Pups who didn't get a proper home.
