Hi My name is Greg Trouba I live in Omaha Neb, I personally can tell you Mittelwest Kennels are nothing but top shelf, I have 2 dogs out of there one that I personally dealt with Julie in October I have never had such a great experience with buying a dog sight unseen other than pictures on there website. I contacted her via email, telephone and she always answered me promptly. I purchased my female from her and she went out of her way to get the puppy to me saving me several dollars and time. She took my puppy to the 2007 sieger show in St Louis Mo, where a friend of mine picked her up and brought back to Omaha, I trusted her to pickout the best pup for drive, for Schutzhund and I guarantee you she did a Fabulous job. I know they are very busy and I did wait a couple of days on a couple of responses, But with me I am a Licensed rabbit judge and I am out of town alot. By the way this is my first post on this forum I have a male out of Fabian Vom Mittelwest and a female out of Sirio Della Real Favorita and Gucci Vom Mittelwest.
Just my 2 Cents for what its worth

I recently had a good friend of mine breed her female to a Mittelwest stud. She had a wonderful experience there and told me how great they treated her and her female. She says they have stayed in contact with her and are a great resource for any questions she may have about breeding, raising puppies, training, etc. They are professionals with a personal touch as she puts it.

heh, i remember you. we did the rabbit thing too, back in the 80's and early 90's. rex to riches.....hahaha. jim and pat powers from northern iowa. we got out of rabbits in the mid 90's, sold all our equip to some 4h-ers. sometimes i miss the rabbits and going to the shows. we met a lot of nice people from all over the country and learned a lot about genetics, too.
and yes, mittelwest has a very good reputation. are you training with the omaha club?
best of luck at the shows and also in the welping box.

ziegenfarm,
I had rabbits back in the 70's, I miss them, they gave me an interesting look into genetics,
I was just a teenager, I had up to 40 rabbits towards the end of my bunny era.
I had Angora's, dutch, New Zealand's, chinchilla's.
One time I bred my black & white Dutch rabbit to his mother cause I wanted the brown & white color.
Needless to say, she had a brown & white bunny in her litter, the color was right but the temperament
was way off, he was a real vicious bunny!
He got out of his cage one day & I called the neighbor over to help get him back in his cage, well the guy was
6 feet tall and the bunny was charging after him teeth barred, the guy was scared to death over this 5 lb. bunny,
what a site!
