hellow friends

many of u friends must have witnessed the show.  unfortunately, i could not be there.  just read that franjo has been crowned as new sieger.  but after looking his photo, feel as if he still needs some more time to be crowned as sieger.  Just my opinion.  As far as Bob is concerned, he looks far superior than Franjo.  Franjo, to me, is having a very  very big upper arm but that looks straight or rather stif and does not appear to have the required angulation in between 90 - 120 or for that matter, 130 degree.  and perhaps this is the reason he looks bigger or alert. I may be wrong since i have not seen franjo in person.

though, comparison should not be drawn, but just out of anxiety, i request everybody who have witnessed the show to kindly come up with their experience and draw some comparison between these two great dogs.

secondly, there is still no news about youth sieger, youth siegeran and siegeran.

thanx

smartboy

Hello friends  This was the most hopeless most prejudiced most fixed show in India by a SV judge. This is not my personal opinion but can be judged from most people. The dog that became sieger was not the deserving one at all and was fixed in front of Bob just to block his way which he could not as he refused to move.Apart from it the other classes were also very visibly set such that some people were not allowed to win in any class and only some were set.The winning pattern was set in the beginning itself and dogs placed in such a way.If such shows continue then the day is not far when german shepherd fans will stop taking the dogs to the Sieger show also as they do in all breed shows. As far as past goes this shows were always perceived to be very fair by one and all and the judges were looked with all fairness and respect.

czarina, u r absolutely right when u say people will stop taking the dogs to the sieger show.  and its not just sieger show, the poor attendance bespeaks itself.  the show organizer may take pride in the high number of entries they get but the fact is that the actual exhibits happen to be very low .  many a people, back here in delhi feel why to exhibit their dogs when they know the results prior to the show.  they know only abdullah's dog will win.     truely, dogs owned by abdullah are very high in quality, no doubt about it and in shows, they deserve to win.  but what is not appreciated is when dogs not owned by abdullah but handled by him are made winners.  its only the handler that matters and not the dog.

though i have no personal grudge against abdullah, its only because of his efforts, there is a sea-change in GSD scenario. today, almost every body is having a well angulated gsd and thanx to abdullaha for having imported wonderful dogs like quando and bob that everybody is getting good dogs from these lines.

but justice should not be sacrificed for personality.  the persona of abdullaha is very big but it should not be made so big by our greedy judges that it overshadows the entire game.  the judgement was at its lowest ebb at dehradoon and gurgaon shows.  Delhi show, however, came with flying colours.  is it because of foreign judges?  hard to say. though one particularly bitch, exhibited but not owned by abdullaha,  was declared a winner.  though there were some very good bitches, but they obviously did not get the eye of honourable judge.

but what happened in hyderabad is also difficult to digest.  Bob is a wonderful mover and very many persons who attended the show would confirm that the intention of the other dog's handler was to block bob's way and make him not to win the coveted titel.  its totally disgusting.  the nonth vs south dog game will lead us nowhere but in the end will make us a laughing stock in the eyes of germans who come all the way from germany to judge the shows but have to go so low to please the organizing committee.
