Legislation in Virginia concerning Mandatory Spay/Neuter, Breeder Liscensing is about to be presented. Those residents of Virginia that oppose such legislation may do so with the information below.

OPPOSITION must be e mailed in IMMEDIATELY as only contacts received by
Monday can be counted on to be received before the vote. Don't wait
tilt the end of day Monday as your email may not be seen. You can
telephone on Monday.

The two bills presented are HB 1570 (statewide mandatory s/n) and HB
1486 (statewide breeder licensing.)

Who to contact - the House Agriculture Subcommittee - these are the
people that will first hear the bill, and are the most important
people to contact. Be polite, be brief, and title your messages
OPPOSE HB 1570 and OPPOSE HB 1486. Be sure you provide your name,
address, and phone number or your message will not be counted.

If any of these are your own delegate, be SURE you mention that you
live in the district. Your opinion will count about ten times as
much!

You can send the same email to each one by copying and pasting. Just
be sure to put OPPOSE HB 1570 and OPPOSE HB 1486 int he subject line
and in the message.

If you can possibly get downtown to oppose these at the hearing
Tuesday morning, contact me privately. Numbers are IMPORTANT.
