Ok, I have a question. I would like to know what to look for when buying a puppy. I see you guys talking about toplines and of course we know about cowhocked and east-west. Then there is temperament and who kknow what else. Can you see these issues in a puppy? I am beginning to think it is better to buy an older puppy maybe 5months and older.
What are your thoughts?

In a puppy you can tell it's conformation, you can tell a lot of their personalities if you observe the litter ie: which one seems the alpha, one may be more submissive, one may have high energy very drivey while the another maybe more calm. Different people look for different things depending on what they want the dog for. Temperment wise it's IMO hard to tell at a few months old what that same dog will be like at say 2 yrs old. A lot of the temperment can be "guessed" or "assumed" from researching the bloodlines and seeing the parents but also the environmental upbringing has a lot to do with it also.

Ok AgarPhranicniStraze1,
What about angulation, rouch and cow-hock? How does the breeder determine which is the
pick and how to price them?
