Hello,
Alpha Schutzhund group will be hosting Steve house the 2nd-3rd of Feb 2008
As some of you know, Steve brings us his extensive training knowledge and experience one weekend every month.
We have been doing this for well over a year, and we (the novice handlers) as well as our dogs have progressed tremendously!!!
We are now in a position to lower our training fees. The fee schedule is as follows:
$40 a day for one dog
$10 a day for each additional dog
Our training schedule is -
Saturday morning 7am Tracking followed by Protection work
Sunday morning 8am Obedience followed by Protection
We have a great group of people and Steve is an awesome Training helper!
Please visit our website www.alphaschutzhund.com
You can also e-mail me for more information

Now that's a training fee schedule I can live with! Don't know about the 7am thing. Can't spend two nights away from home, but once my new kennel building is up and dogs in it so my help can't go it alone in my absense, count on me with 4 dogs.

Great Shelley!
Do you think you will be attending at all feb 2nd and 3rd weekend?
Our goal here is to get committed people regularly, so we can bring him here routinely twice a month.
Let me know, so I can have a general idea of how many people to expect-
Shannon-
Thanks!!!! :-)

BTW...
IF anyone out there is new to dog sport I welcome you to come to this group.
Out of all the groups and clubs I have trained with in the past 4 years I have stayed here for the following reasons...
Quality of helper work. I have seen dogs that were nothing and that most helpers wouldn't even try and work become confident and strong.
Every dog leaves the field with a Full Bite.
We don't have any WHIP happy people.
We are very friendly, and we do NOT allow snooty people. We do everything we can to make NEW people feel welcome.
This is one of the only groups I have ever seen CLAP for someone and PRAISE each other for a job well done.
Every weekend you learn something new.
If you have a question feel free to ask ME or anyone else there we will do everything we can to answer your question HONESTLY and witht he CORRECT information.
We work outside of every box. Each day is different, and each person has a goal that you see progress towards every day.
There is soooo much more about this group. If it has kept my interest the people really are the REAL DEAL. Everyone is kind, everyone is helpful and best of all, there isn't any backstabbing or gossiping about anyone that trains with us. We really do support all of the people who choose to train with us.
Your experience doesn't matter.
Your quality of dog doesn't matter.
Bring show line, bring working line, bring a mutt it is all accepted!
We are HONEST so if you look for a helper to tell you everything is wonderful every time, this is not the place. Our helper is HONEST and if something isn't right he will work his butt off to make it correct. I have seen more troubled dogs come to this group in the last year, I can guarantee that when you visit us and train with us you won't have any idea that some of the dogs most helpers would look at as a LOST cause.
I hope to see you there! (I will be unless my girl has puppies that weekend!)
Kind Regards,
Shannon Huffman

I wish you were just a tad bit closer or my schedule wasn't so ridiculously crazy right now because I'd be willing to make the trip. Sounds like a nice group, easy going and laid back; the way it should be. Please let me know when your next one is scheduled, I'd like to try to come.

I will TRY to get there that weekend. Depends on a number of things, not the least of which is the weather and whether or not (no pun intended) my van can be repaired in time. I don't have anything else to pull the dog trailer with or that will hold the crates... Hard to find parts for the old van anymore. The entire right front end came apart at 70 mph on the turnpike a week ago. Could be awhile before its back on the road...

holy crap(just read the van part at 70mph!)
Hope you can MAKE IT there! Litterally!!!
I can only get 3 dogs there be I arrive in the van or the truck. Don't get stranded with a dog trailer! Oye Ve that'd be a lot of dogs to worry about then!
