Looking for people interested in Training Dogs in South Michigan...There is no training fees...and no fees at all...just have an interest in training dogs in Obedience...Tracking....and...Protection...
If you are interested at all just contact me and we will begin to work dogs and have fun...
If you are tired of all the BS and all the fees that other clubs or groups charge....then contact me and we will begin to work dogs together....The idea is to work your dog and to have fun doing it...Not to support other's life style and families...

where in south Michigan are you located?

Yeah...but you're about 12 hours from me....and then I lose all my property...and peace that I have here...I'm still looking for some people that have the same ideas as me...and it's very simple...NO training fees...It seems like everyone here in Michigan has a hand out...and I just don't believe in that...I think that dog training in a club atmosphere should be for the love of it and not for the money....
I would just like to train my dogs and help others do the same...and enjoy it with out having to take a loan out to do it...I guess things are different where I come from...But I just think there should be a separation between Clubs and Professional Training Facilities...
I'd really just love to find a few folks that have the same ideas as I do...I will train folks and have plenty of dogs to teach new helpers how to catch/work dogs too....So if you know of anyone with these ideas...give them my contact information....

What are you going to do when someone gets hurt and sues you?
There are reasons to pay Dues to your club! Dues cover things like:
1. INSURANCE! INSURANCE!! INSURANCE!!!
2. Wear and tear on equipment and replacement of equipment!
3. Support the club
4. Off set the costs of trials! Trials don't always break even! What judge will want to come to your trial if you do not prepare for him/her? No judge wants to be put up at the budget inn with poor accomodation!
5. Donations to worth while causes....like care packages to the dogs and handlers in Iraq or donations to rescue organizations!
6. Host seminars! Seminars don't always break even either!! And the person you bring in for the seminar needs to be treated very well, just like the judge!
I don't need to go on but there are many reasons that dues need to be paid!!

I live in Hudson, Michigan...about 30 miles south of Jackson and about 15 miles west of Adrian...It's a little farming town and is great...But being from Florida I don't know too many people up here...and the ones I have met and the clubs that I've visited all have very funny ideas of what a club should be...They all are into MONEY...MONEY...MONEY...And that's not what my idea of a club or training group is...So I want to offer something different where the normal person can still train their dogs and have a good time at it...
It seems to me that more and more the normal everyday person can't train their dogs in Schutzhund because of the enormous fees that they're charging up here...I'm just looking for a few dedicated people that have the same ideas as me and want to train and have a good old fashion time at it...Not a place where you go and pay for every little thing you do and then it leads to people just going and training their dogs...and leaving...I want to create an atmosphere where people enjoy themselves and train their dogs too...So if anyone is interested in this type of thing...contact me and we'll begin to have some fun again...

Not all of the clubs up here charge a lot to be members, but there are a number of very expensive training groups/clubs with hired sleeves that are definitely meant for the well to-do.
