I purchased 2 a.I. kits with extender for a woman who wanted to breed her bitch to my male. She is in N.C. I am in NJ. Each kit cost me $250.00. Now she has bred to some untitled male who was just diagnosed with Rocky Mountain Spotted fever. And the bitch took.
Anyone interested in the kits at my cost? I will pay the shipping.
please email me at satlas5471@aol.com if you have any interest..
thanks

Hi Sarah,
Sorry, I have no use a.I kits, but I can somewhat relate to the anger you must go through. Some peopel just dont get it, and probably never will ! It's so sad what is done to our breed.

Hi Sarah,
I'd drive to NC and shove them up her ass! Although I never put up any money for those wonderful window shoppers I can sympathize with your frustration. You might want to contact some repro specialists that do AI regularly...I use Straws to Paws in NJ, ask them, it's worth a shot. http://www.strawstopaws.com/
Take care,
Melanie

Melanie, I like your gumption this morning. I feel the same. It's too bad you had to get screwed Sarah but I am glad you posted it for others to learn by. Another lesson for us all, do not fork out $ for a buyer, if they are buying they need to pay for all equipment, or fees upfront first. Perhaps this could have been avoided if a $300 deposit fee was taken for the AI. This would have purchased the kit and held her to her "decision".
Sounds like Karma already awarded the "unbuyer" with her spotted fever litter. I hope you find someone interested in the kit Sarah. Sorry I can't help out there. Good luck and I hope we all come away more cautious when dealing with others.

My question for you Sarah is... why did you pay for the kits when it should be the responsiblity of the bitch owner? If she really wanted to breed with your male, it should be her responsiblity for buying the A.I. kits, not you.
Can you key us into who this woman is? What's her kennel name? It should be known for all whos in the area and looking for a GSD puppy.

this happened to be someone i thought i knew very well! she is in SAR. I was to get pick male and second pick female. I have known this person for many years!!!I assisted her in getting her sar dog from a kennel i am very familiar with in the Checz republic. Guess you can never know anyone that well. Should have learned that lesson with my X-husband a long time ago.
I was to get pick male for stud fee and female for putting money out. She has offered me a pup from this litter but I graciously declined. What effets will the spotted fever (under treatment) have on the litter?
Melanie, thanks for the info. I will follow up on it. WANT to get back to training!!!!!

Sarah, your male is very nice, my kind of lines but if I breed again, it will be years down the road. I have no females to breed anytime soon. Your boy is nice and I think you will find a taker somewhere around here.
