I keep thinking about the terror and pain this poor dog suffered before she died.  I really hope they catch the pervs who did this and plaster their names and pictures all over the news.  

Does anyone here know the max punishment is for this in philly??

Sad, just really terribly sad is all I can say. I wish we could give and eye for an eye. Whoever did this isn't worth the air they breathe.

What is worse is this person will probably get a smack on the wrist...

I know, only to do that to a person someday I'm sure.

It seems like they almost punished the dog for being pregnant.

It's time we made judges/law makers realize that these crimes against animals are only the begining. We need mandatory jail time. Instead we allow thugs, rapist and murderers to plea bargin and go free. And we wonder what is happening to our society?

Hey isn't that how serial killers form? This person will ended up killing a few or bunch of people in that area down the line... BEWARE for those living around the area. get yourself a gun, learn how to use it and protect yourself and your family! :)

K9sar, What we need is to have people with bigger set of balls in our justice system who aren't intimidated by such organizations like ACLU. It's amazing how so many people in America are afraid to see human blood, even to one who committed such heinous crimes like raping and murdering of a child. What we need to have is to have public executions where any age are allow to view it on public TV (If the execution is happen during school hours, allow the students to drop whatever their doing to watch the execution) it's more like an educational moment... For kids, yes it's scary but it will scare the kids into not committing such heinous crimes when they get to be an adult. I can guarantee you that if this were to happen that we would have less murder crimes in our society. I'm all for public executions.

If it was up to me, I'd make it where if someone murdered someone (lets say a shotgun) and once found guilty... the asshole should be killed by the same murder weapon (or similar one) that was used to take the victims life. None of this lethal injection bullshit. It serves no purpose.

 i do not know what state you live in but in Philadelphia where this sick act occured all the criminals have guns. I live in NJ and they just out lawed the death penalty. As far as the kids leaving school to watch the hanging...they would probABLY take bets on how long it would take for the person to die as he hung and someone else would be making money selling pop corn or speed
