Hi,
I need as much information as possible on this test. Can someone shed some light on this?. Also what are the worldwide laboratories doing this test. Is it necessary that the test be done from the country of origin only or can the result test be done by couriering blood sample to laboratory outised the home country?
Is there some website where one can get nformation on this test and how to get the result?
cheers

Hi Vikram,I will try to find the site i had.I will have to try and boot up my old computer as that is where i had it on.If it will re-boot then i will be able to retreive it hopefully.I take it that you know titers are a test to see if the body has some immunity to a particular desease such as parvo, distemper, etc. This is a measure for people not wanting to overvaccinate.Im not sure now as to how long after a titer test your dog is protected.Anyway,i will connect my old pc and try to retreive the article i found before. If I cant find it then i will ask a friend from my old sch club if she has anything on it.

For the rabies titer test, for a "European Pet Passport" the approved LABORATORY list is here:

I hope you find this useful

What country do you live in and where would the dog be shipped?
Different countries have different regulations.
I know that in the U.S. we send our Rabies Titers to Kansas State University.

There's good information on this site regarding regulations. There are two diferent methods of testing.
