Hello! Has anyone tried this dog food or have any thoughts about it? I have my dogs on Canidae all life stages but there coats seem to be dry. No problems with itching or runny stools! The protein content in the extreme athlete is 32 percent which is a lot. Let me know thoughts or opinions about this food please. Thanks!

Hello. I feed my GSD's Diamond Premium Adult. It has a little less protein @ 27 percent but yes there is a big difference in their coats. They're shinier and softer. Plus the food seems to go a little farther due to the higher fat content. I tend to feed them a little less amounts. Good luck.

I am happier with the coats and stools on Canidae's chicken formula. Wasn't pleased with the regular ALS.

we have been using this on a couple of high energy dogs to keep weight  on and they are doing fine.

I have 2  high drive kennel runners who seem to have a hard time keeping weight on. We switched them to the Diamond naturals extreme alittle more than a month ago and they look fabulous now! good weight, good coat and good stools.

All my other dogs are on Diamond high energy or Diamond puppy. We are pleased with this food.
