Here is a wonderful link to make a nice elevated bed for your best friend!!
I have looked at and have been wanting similar beds for LOTS of $!!! I'm going to put one in all my guy's kennels!!!

Hi We use something similar except the frame is metal - although the pvc is a great idea we use either clean chaff sacks just cut the corners off and slide over the frame and we use conveyor belt rubber for the "diggers". Throw the sack away when it is is old and just hose the rubber beds. Great idea thanks for posting.
