Oh, he can't help himself, he's "hanging out" with the boys. The only female of the bunch is on the chair, too much testosterone on the floor LOL.

Its 18F here, with a chill factor of -2. Ice everywhere after snow melted for a awhile in the sun yesterday and then re-froze.
I wish we had a cozy fireplace. Hard to snuggle up to a vent on the ceiling. LOL I am feeding hot meals 2x day to the adult dogs outside during daylight hours. 12 yr. old Conni will only see the outdoors for a few min. at a time today and tomorrow.
Fine with her. Fine with me too! Good day to mix a batch of raw food in front of the Food Network in the toasty-warm kitchen. I can pretend I am creating a gourmet dish for US instead of for Jed the Goof-ball.

It went down to the single digits last night and our high today is supposed to be 16 F. A tad too nippy but it would be at least prettier if we had some snow. I still have that fire burning!

We were a tad warmer at 22 today for training. And lucky for us, they allowed us to go inside the warehouse to train today. WOO HOO! Our field is behind a warehouse. So the dogs got to have some "real" fun! Slippery floors, find the helper in various different places, including going into the dark.

None of my dogs wanted to stay outside longer than they needed to. They ate, drank, relieved themselves and were right back inside. The one is customed to being more of a kennel dog but I guess she's gotten spoiled since I've had her. lol I've got my wood burner going all day and night. How many more days til spring???? lol

Yea, my dogs did not want to stay out for very long either. Especially the 11 year old, who is no uncertain terms, was telling us that she was ready to come in!
They even smelled cold after coming in.

Rezkat- That's funny you mentioned them smelling cold....lol I said the same thing to my husband and he told me I was crazy that they just needed a bath.

A chinook, a warmish wind from the South is blowing in Anchorage today. It warmed up to 40 degrees. It's melting off the nice snow that we FINALLY got this month, which made for good skiing, skijoring, and snowshoeing. Now the snow is mushy, and when it re-freezes, it will be crusty. Yeah, I'm complaining about the weather warming up! Veronica
