i have a 14 month old male shepherd who is very nervous! i think i could be wrong. ie sometimes when talking him for a walk and in the first few steps if i stop walking i can feel his body shaking granted he is probably excited. but in other cases if some comes to the door he will sometimes shake as well in our own house if you suddenley open a closet door if will become frightened noise will scare him if his favourire toy gets tossed into a place he is not familiar with he will cry and will not get it on his own and his body is shaking like a leaf...i feel he has been like this since a pup and i thought he would possibly out grow this but that has not happened........when walking he seems to be afraid of nothing and is curious
i dont know how to break this

Has this just started or has the dog been this way since young pup?
What type(s) of training have you and your dog done together?
Any recent Vaccination shots?
I would want more information before I would give an opinion or advice.

If he was like this as a pup like you say he is nervous it can be in bred, take him to places like the park, train station if he dosnt like it and run! You must go with him, if he dosnt like anything you go up to it and invite him to see,you are the leader so he will follow you. think of it as you are the dad, he trust you and you are the leader. hope thats helped pam
