I am curious to know if VA Bazi is producing smaller than average dogs?

by Jeffrey on 15 January 2008 - 10:01

I am constantly in contact with many of the owners of Bazi progeny and I have not yet heard of any complaints that he is producing dogs smaller than the average.

Bazi himself is a good sized dog with a large masculine head and he seems to be passing these traits to his progeny.

Bazi is clearly passing his strong drive and working abilites to his pups as many of the owners refer to Bazi pups as "Bazigators" as they are very active with strong drives.

Bazi is gathering many of his progeny for the  2008 German Seiger show so that there is a good representation at this show. Presently many of his progeny have been doing well in the local shows in Germany

We are looking forward to a good placement in 2008 baased on the positive results of his progeny.

If you have any questions about Bazi please feel free to email me.

Before Jeffery responded I was going to say, breedings are a combination of both sire and dam with both contributing to the offspring. I find that each has as much to add as the other, whether it is looks, drives, temperament or size.  One breeding may not give you what you want and yet another using different bloodlines will yield a better quality litter.  Remember it's a crap shoot, and it is not fair to assume that it comes from the famous father/mother. That being said, I own 2 Bazi pups, both males and both with excellent drives. I won't lie and say they are both show quality, but then noone has a whole litter of show quality pups.  You might get lucky and have 1 show quality puppy out of 8, you just never know. Both my boys have alot of maturing and growing to go, and yes one will make the cut in my eyes as my show pup, but it does not take away from the fact that both have inherited the stable temperment and both are very healthy. Which way it goes from their is partly up to me and the rest will be genetics.   Respectfully, Debbie

Uber Land - See below Bazi son I have retained from my litter., photo taken at 9 weeks of age, now 11weeks old, so judge for yourself.

Sadly will miss this years German Sieger Show by just 6 weeks short of a year old when it takes place, but all being well he will be going along anyway for the ride.

Hope you like him Jeffrey, he can move too, as can his two beautiful sisters.

Regards to all

Sue

Sue,

photo of your boy looks great !

too bad about missing out of 2008 Seiger Show with him this year.

Hope to see you there anyway and again with your champion in 2009.
