PETA

I belong to another dog group, non-GSD. A member of this group posted some unbelievable information about PETA. I clicked on the link and the page had been removed. So I did a search and came up with this:

http://www.consumerfreedom.com/news_detail.cfm/headline/3529

A 97.3% kill rate – anybody else know about this??? I thought they were all about protecting the welfare of animals.

All PETA is concerned with is abolishing the world of all captive animals, including house pets!!  They don't believe that people should own pets, they are CcCcCRrRAaAAaZZZZZZZZyYyYyY extreme organizations!!!

PETA is an extremist group, they do more harm than good!  I would NEVER support ANY PETA activity!  Penn and Teller had a great video about the truth of Peta, I will look for it....

Ok, this is a long video, you need to watch it in three segments which I will post here

Penn & Teller use crude language, this is for adults only!

peta is also listed on the domestic terrorist list with the FBI. but they also have tax exempt status. how nice is that they are rewarded with not having to pay taxes but can fund bombings of research centers which has resulted in the death of humman life, as well as being caught poisoning show dogs while in their travel kennels at dogs shows. stating that they'd rather see the animals dead than having to stay in those cramped quarters. sometimes the US protect the WRONG organizations.

In the earlier Years PETA uncovered some very disturbing and totally un called for as well as Cruel experiments ( involving cats) and some other stuff . I think the problem is the leader "Inge" she has a totally unrealistic view of the world and of animals which she owns ZERO of, but Gladly poses with for Photo ops.

Now they are doing really dumb stuff like infiltating a turkey slaughter house for MONTHs ( spending thousands) and taping hours of video if not more to uncover some poor worker sitting on a live turkey before slaughter. HBO gave the special for thanksgiving.

I try to stay un biased but it is upsetting, they want no Human- Animal interaction at all, because horse riding, Police dogs, Seeing Eye dogs, wildlife management Etc. is all " Slavery" to them.

when I used to work at Six Flags animal show where we had a bunch of exotic and domestic animals, we used to have animal rights groups come into the farm area and carrying on. I would explain again and again that the exotics were deemed non-releasable wildlife and would be dead if not cared for in captivity. (most because somebody illegally tried to keep them as pets,). Invariably they almost all stated "better off dead then in a cage". This happened multiple times over the 3 year period I was there, and sometimes they would come and heckle us at the show. I would never have believed that there were people like this in the world, with this faulty logic. But you better believe they really WOULD rather see the animals dead. PETA is definitely one of the most notorious for this..
