i have an 16month old female, we're working on more advance o.b work & id like to know if any of you have taught & if so how, to heel on right side too. when we walk she heels on left, like she was taught if i put her in a down walk a bit then call her shell come in sit in front of me, so far so good, but id like to teach her also to sit on my right side, can i just use the word " right" ? if you guys could let me know if & how you've done this it would be of great help, i dont want to confuse or ruin what we have.

The word that I use for Chaos to come to my right, is "Side" He learned it quite quickly and now when we are walking and we need to have him avoid something, we just say "Side" and he goes to my right.

You can teach a heel on both sides. You do the exact same thing, just make it a different command. The key is you need to make it crystal clear to the dog what command is for what side. If he is clear on what you are asking, it should not be a problem.
