Well it is one way to prove that a breeding actually occured between the 2 dogs!

They are trying to show their integrity. I've noticed European doggy websites do often show pictures of ties.
Several years ago I went to see a litter one of my stud's produced. As part of our normal routine when a bitch owner cannot attend breedings we photograph the ties. The bitch owner had those pictures in her photo album she was using to show prospective clients pix of parents, siblings, etc. I kindly suggested she remove them as I had provided those pictures for her eyes only. So I agree, many people do find this type of picture vulgar. I personally do not. In a world where people lie about everything and anything to make a sale one should take nothing for granted. These people are going to the nth degree to prove the litter's parents are correct as stated. Take it at face value.
The good news is that I think because no skin or private parts are in view, it's considered SOFT porn? Ooops. Sorry for the bad humor LOL.

I'm with Sue-Ann. While it might not make a pretty picture, I don't find it vulgar. I've sent pics to female owners to prove there was a successful tie. If you want really vulgar, you should hear the conversation going on while we're trying to get a breeding accomplished. LOL I have some pics somewhere of some horse breedings we've done. Now that would REALLY curl your toes.

I wouldn't post an ad with such a picture, but I have shipped females to be bred and received pictures of "the tie" back as proof of the breeding from the stud dog owner. Of course I recognize my female, know the male and that is very good proof that the breeding occurred. The stud dog owner can therefore not be blamed if the female comes up empty - he did at least "earn the fee" so to speak.

I'm not offended by pictures of ties I just think its stupid. It proves nothing . If a breeder has integrity issues this isnt going to help in my mind at all. The proof is in the pudding as grandma says.
