Bakers beware! Did you know your dog can get drunk from eating..... BREAD DOUGH??

I imagine this might also bring on a fatal case of bloat, or an intestinal blockage, as the dough is so sticky.
They never seem to run out of ways of getting into trouble, but this is a new one to me!

lol....ive had dogs that LOVED beer.....one had to be tied up everytime we had a party cause he would beg more for a beer then any dog would beg for a bbq chicken leg...you had to hold on to your beer or he would knock it over to drink it....
i've heard that about dough tho...i think on ER......something about acholics in prison would use their food made from dough...bread/ biscuts...and stuff it in an old sock and let it soak in the toilet....somehow thats how they made aclchol?...
maybe thats why raw cookie dough makes us feel better...

the yeast must be frementing.
luvmigsd, years ago i had a huge 140lb mutt who was mostly dumb as a rock (but sweet). however, he figured out how to open a small frig we had in our den and steal the beers. i thought my husband was being "trashy" when i kept finding empty crushed beer cans at one side of the house. when i picked them up to throw in the garbage, i noticed they were all unopened, but bitten thru! my big ole bubba did like his beer. we got rid of the little frig and learned to never leave a beer sitting around.

angusmom---LOL...guess he wasn't as dumb as you though huh?.....the dog i was talking about was actually named "dummy" ....my son named him that because he would bark at a picture of a dog on a bag of dogfood...or even at his own reflection in a stainless steel bowl....
