very disturbing - Page 1

I just saw a video on you tube and i am now wishing that i did'nt see this as it was very,very disturbing.It is called cat and dog massacre in china.I cant beleive those sons of bitches could do that to an animal.I saw many German Shepherds being tortured in this video for these bastards to eat..Boy i really dont like this type of people right now.Why are we helping them grow in every way by helping there economy.These people are f'd.Yes I am pissed and appauled at this.How can anyone allow this,and how can the rest of the f'd up world sit back and not give a shit.If anyone sees this you will hear the screams and witness these poor things being CRUELLY SLAUGHTERED.I was watching and saying to myself PLEASE LET GO OF YOUR LIFE FAST SO YOUR SUFFERING WILL END.Very F'N disturbing.And if anyone has a problem or is thinking what a wuss,let me tell you that i have more stones then you will ever dream of having so give it a break.This is clearly inhumane and UNACCEPTABLE by this race.I cant beleive the Germans even sell these people dogs but then again what do they care as long as the good ol buck is there

Although its Ok to take out your vent once in a while on a public forum it helps to let go the steam. But what will you say for people eating cows where they are sacred in some cultures. Or Horses?

I totally agree with you that dogs should not be killed. But unfortunately you and I live in an imperfect world.

I wish some concrete solution could be found. Venting emtions is ok but it really does not solve the problem

Hi Domenic, you sound utterly shattered by this video.No-one in their riht mind will think you are a Wuss - I only saw exerpts of a recent TV foottage to imagine what you have seen.   I havent seen it, and couldnt watch it... I also feel that perhaps makes me cowardly, but I just couldnt - even hearing about it makes me feel sick.  What can be done?  I agree with you - why are people sending dogs to these places? although, I tend to think perhaps its the poor souls that are conceived there and never looked after til they meet a very bad end.  I too, wish there was somthing that could be done.  Mo

Have you witnessed the way these animals are tortured?  Here in the UK at least other animals, killed for food as you say, are killed humanely and looked after for their lives before it, and fed properly, I dont think there is ANY comparison. I realise that cows are sacred in some cultures, and each to his own - but in cultures where the cow is sacred, it is revered and looked after, in cultures that it is used for food, it is also very well looked after.....what for these poor dogs and cats that Domenic has seen, not even a humane end, let alone a good life. Mo

Yes I totally agree that they should not be tortured. But you cannot stop people from eating dogs just as you cannot stop eating cows horses and camels etc etc.

Phew Vikram, I could NEVER get used to that idea, mine are all my babies, and if anyone ate them, I could turn cannibal - seriously though, I wish something big could be done to stop it.... although then I guess it would go "underground" - this is indeed a cruel world at times.   Mo

I don't think they raise dogs for that. Just that they eat strays in lou of having shelters. Disturbing, but practical, and it helps feed & clothe people.

I believe the GSDs you saw being slaughtered were being used for their skin/fur, not meat - though their bodies may have been eating as a "biproduct" of their fur.  Terrible and IMO very primitive and inhumane.

I know that in Korea, certain farmers do raise dogs for the specific use of consumption. A few years ago, I had a Korean co-worker who told me that her aunt still does that. She also advised me to never ever sell my dogs to Korea and I think I will listen to that advise. I don't know about China though, although I also have co-workers who worked in that country and they too mentioned horrible things about certain markets in rural areas. Yes, in India they do not understand how Westerners can kill a cow for consumption, but the major difference is the way this animal would be killed. It least I would like to think that way, but sometimes reports about slaughter houses and chicken hatcheries and batteries are very disturbing as well.

I saw a whole news special about dog farms, most of the dogs appeared to be very large St. Bernard mixes, it was very sad...I agree with Domenic that it is the way the animals are killed that is the most disturbing part, I saw a similar video and it still haunts me, in some cases cats were being boiled alive, very disturbing.
