SID Online - Page 1

For anyone who may know....How do I subscribe to get the SID online? I went to the SV website to pay my membership and then attempted to subscribe via the site and am not sure if I was successful. I entered my CC info and pertinents and clicked "Abschicken" and got a thank you reply but no info as to price,etc.... any suggestions? Thanks all and Happy New Year to everyone!!!

Here is a direct link to the info for subscribing to SID: http://www.schaeferhund.de/site/index.php?id=14 The prices are as follows in EURO (!!!): 130 Euros annually to download. Once you have paid, they will send you a name (usually your membership no.) and a password. Every Monday, you can go onto their site and download the weekend results of the shows, breed surveys and competition trials. Once a month, they also add the stud news of the past month. If you prefer the information in paperform, it gets very expensive: 153.50 Euros within Germany, 217.50 Euros with surface mail internationally (takes 10 to 14 days) and 409 Euros with airmail. If you click on "Kontaktformular", you can send them requests for info on that form. If you click on "Bestellschein", you fill out that form to pay and order. I would not do it twice and rather wait for their answer or send them another mail via their contact form if you have not heard from them until January 10 or so. Keep in mind that the SV is currently closed for winter holidays until Holy Three Kings (they are located in Bavaria which is primiarly catholic and therefore, the Three Kings is a big holiday). I used to live just outside the same city they are located in. They will reopen on January 7. Chris
