To all the people that wrote me back on "Need Help" THANK YOU!!!!!!! The little puppy is up and running like a little road runner LOL He is getting color back in to his gums and eating up to a half of can of food, and getting firm POOP!!! (never thought his owner would get excited over firm poop but he is LOL). We still have a long road to go to get the weight back up on him but that will come with time. The little guy is very happy and tail waggin. So again Thank you to all that responded!!!! EK

Would you care to share with us what the problem was and what made it better. It could be very helpful to others in the future.

Well, after going to yet another vet (sigh) they found nothing wrong with him !!!! blood work came back clean, no parasites, a little dehydrated and under weight. The vet gave a immune boost shot and sent home some high calorie supplements. He did give 50 cc under the skin for the dehydration. Vet said it could be a number of things parasites that have not shedded yet, stress of going home or a cold. All the worming and shot mostly over whelmed his system and He just needed a jump start;. Basically he needed a red bull like the vet said LOL. The owner could not fit the feeding in to the work time so I have been puppy sitting. I have been adding the chicken liver blood as suggested by a member and started him out on baby food (loves the beef) but added in can dog food with pedialite and baby cereal with iron. I have been feeding him four times a day now. He is buzzing all over the house and underfoot. There are many times I come here and see all the BS and think "why do I keep coming back?" It is times like these where people pull together and lend a helping hand-information that answers that! Thanks again

Ek, Thanks for letting us know how he is doing. Glad to hear the improvement. Your friend is lucky to have a good friend like you willing to look for answers AND pitch in and do the actual work. Have fun and give in to the puppy vortex periodically - good for the soul.
