Being an avid trainer and breeder of German Shepherd Dogs and being around this industry we would think that this would get easier over time. This morning at around 4:00 am est. we had to put our 10 year old female Rottweiler Heidi to rest. She didnt suffer long, but will be suffering for a long period to come. She was my best friend, my heart, and my baby girl. And ill miss her forever. As we brought her to rest i felt a pain in my chest which i classified as a piece of my heart breaking. Thank you Heidi for All the love, support and great times. 11/05/97-12/29/07

Sorry to hear about Heidi. It's never easy coming to the decision to put a animal down. Been there and it wasn't easy at all. Especially around the holidays. Hope it gets better soon for you.

My condolences, as we put Ibo down, there is this haunting guilt, that maybe we could do something more, but it wasn't going to get any better. So I really can relate. I am so sorry for loss. Healing, grieving takes time. God bless.

You have my deepest sympathy. Heidi will live in your heart forever. Trust me, it NEVER gets easier. There are a few cedar boxes on my dresser and retired collars hanging on my walls near pix of my beloved heart-dogs. SS
