A nice photo of V Blade von den Wannaer Höhen was just posted under Oli's "latest pictures" section. I think this GSD is the type both showline and working line breeders should strive to reach in their breeding. Yes, he could have a better croup, and could have a bit freer reach in front, but overall the dog's construction and proportions look very nice. I like his close coupling and male type. Congratulations to the breeder and owner of this attractive GSD. Who wouldn't like owning a GSD that looks like this if it has good temperament and health?

I don't like him. He looks a bit too short in the back. The grade of the slope on his back seems a bit to steep for my taste, and the grade increases as you near the crop. just my opinion.

It's all personal preference. I think this is the look that can win in many SV show rings. The fact that it is a working line dog shows that one can breed working line dogs that have great confirmation. If I was in the market for a stallion young male GSD, I would definitely check this dog out. Does anyone know anything about the breeders or where they are from?

I think that is a good model for what I think is ideal.

Sorry folks but I think Amon vom Patriot looks prettier then both dogs :)
Blade looks too fat on the picture, he looks like a pregnant bitch.
