Difficult question to ask but, do you feel you have extra experience and knowledge in a particular area with the GSD? With a humble confidence would you like to share the area you tend to specialise in? May I also ask are there people here that specialise in 'GSD Pedigrees'? I used to make GSD pedigrees I can tell you though that this was most often for breeders I never had the privilege of meeting personally, so the Pedigrees were purchased and sent out through mail. I never actually saw the litters these pedigrees were for. My advice to you from all the litters I have seen, 1. is that you really need to to cross the very best two individuals you can find. Make sure they compliment each other and don't have any serious faults in common. be honest with yourself. 2. Go and SEE as many dogs as you can, Go to all the shows and trials you can and "Absorb". This will let you compare your own dogs to what others have, you will see what your dogs lack and also what they possses that is hard to find elsewhere, ect. Plus you will develop and eye for exactly what you want your future pups to look and act like. :-) Jo-Ann
