I updated my dogs pedigree. www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/7/517836.html Tell me what you guys think.

She is listed as OFA Good but is still not in the OFA database - I think that was asked back in September and I don't think there is that big a timelag in getting them on the database. You should probably fix that either with the OFA or remove it from her pedigree. There is nothing in her pedigree to comment on. What is it you are looking for?

How do i remove the OFA from her pedigree? I wondering if there is anything in her pedigree that was impressive like some of the dogs in her pedigree have SCH3 like valiantdale's boss vom icon and valiantdale's icon vom irwin and some show champions like Copyright of kings pride.

There is nothing "special" in her pedigree, as a dog to be bred or as a dog to purchase. She may be perfect for your family though.

If you go to your pedigree click on hyperlink "ped update" and you can make the fixes there. The two dogs have some nice accomplishments, but it is not at all uncommon to see that level of accomplishmnet (show / work) in ALL dogs (parents, grandparents, great grandpartents, on back) in a given pedigree. A pedigree tells you something about genetic potential for breeding but may not tell you about the faulrs or merits on an individual dog

I go into the ped update for carmail wolf aaron and i go HD results and then i hit not tested then i submit the modifications but when i go look in her pedigree it still says HD-OFA Good what did i do wrong?

by Nancy on 26 December 2007 - 15:12

I think sometimes it takes a little while for them to update probably to keep people from messing with other peoples dogs

I can't get the OFA off her ped so it's just going to have to stay there.

I have a other question, What line do you think she is?

based on what info is available, she is what most people refer to as an "american" shepherd.  you have to go back 5 generations to find any german or european linage.  based on the names and titles available, it looks like the breeders were into schutzhund at one time, but now do akc.

while there is more to a dog or bitch than the number of titles in the pedigree,  a lot of people look  at the overall picture to see if there is a patern of working ability, and conformation ratings.

my females pedigree

http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/5/417778.html

if you look at the mother side, you will see some females without any titles or show ratings.  compared to the rest of her pedigree it is minor.  then one must also take into consideration what the individual dog/bitch has accomplished also.

just my thoughts, others may have different views
