You've been in SchH since 10 years old, titled 3 SchH 3 titles by age 16, grew up in Germany, and never heard of the FCI? The FCI is "an all breed worldwide dog organization, that all the various countries’ recognized registries (such as the SV) are members of". The standards and regulations are very similar to the SV's, in some cases more forgiving (such as artificial insemination, below) An SV registered dog can be transferable to the FCI, though I don't believe the opposite is true. Fédération Cynologique Internationale (FCI) rules govern the IPO titles (refer to your webpage).

Yes I know the FCI but I have never heard it here in the US when I went to their website the states was not included or I mised it somehow, FCI is I belive one of the oldest registry there is, What I was wanting to know that if you have AKC if you still can register FCI. Thats all, it should not have anything to do where anyone is from.

I think you have to go either through either LV/DVG America or American Working Dog Federation (AWDF) to be recognized by FCI.

You can register your dog thru FCI if it registered with AKC. There is a form you have to fill out, send in a copy of the AKC registration papers and pedigree. It took about a year to get my FCI Registration back though.
