just noticed the picture feature and everything else is gone from the message board .....I wonder why. I really liked it Pia

So does everyone else, Pia. I understand that Oli is working on some of the bugs in the system so that features work with a wide array of browsers.

Yea I had the problem and others were still uploading pictures. I sent an email to Oli but did not get a response. I've tried it on multiple PCs and multiple browsers.

I have noticed the same thing. I tried to post a cool picture of my boyfrinds male working and wasnt able to post it. OLI, do you know when this is all be fixed?

We are not getting the bottom features we used to have here, bold prints, inserts etc. Dont show on my computer. Guess we just have to wait and see.

You can still use html to post pictures. If someone has a link to the thread where it was explained how to do that, I'd appreciate it. I've forgotten just where it was. I use Photobucket for my online photo album. Below the thumbnails of my uploaded pictures, there are options for displaying the photo: e-mail, web-page, etc. If I choose the HTML option, and copy and paste that address here, I can still display a photo. It has the added advantage of resizing the photo so I don't get a page-stretching monster, as often happened with the photo display option before Oli removed it. Here's what the code looks like...I've added spaces so it will show code and not the picture.

Sunsilver, Unfortunately, this HTML option isn't nearly as user-friendly as that of the old message board. An added drawback is is that you are not able to preview the photos before submitting your comments. This disadvantage is reflected in your double-posting of photos seen above. Another drawback of the photo-hosting sites is their lack of permanence: if you don't maintain your account fairly current, any photo you've posted here on the PDB will disappear and become a small box with a red "x" in it.
