Due to situations that are very unfortunate,Laura is not working with us any longer. Taunya

by DSwanson on 23 December 2007 - 16:12

I am sorry to hear that Laura is no longer with you. Although I am very unhappy with the situation that I encountered with Rocky, I want it clearly stated that Laura is not a bad woman. I purchased my first dog from her and he was awesome. I am still very upset with Eurosport. As Laura was employed by them, they assum the liability for her actions. I have left numerous phone messages and e-mails with Eurosport and have yet to get a response. An appology is nice yet, does nothing to fix the problem. Therfore, Eurosport should rectify the promblem and they have done nothing. I repeat NOTHING. As their reputation is at stake, I believe that they should rectify the problem. I carried out my end of the bargin, paid a great deal of money and still have a miserable dog with no papers. The ball is back in their court.I caution any future buyers to be aware of the problem that I encountered so that no body else hase to endure what I have. Letter sent December 8, 2007 Dear Taunya, I need to speak with you regarding Rocky. I purchased him from you last winter and used Laura VonZoller as a go between. I have had nothing but problems with Rocky since his arrival. I am not blaming you, I simply want to make you aware of the situation with him. Although, he did have some training and I know how much time and energy you put into to your business, it took Laura 6 months to ship him to me. When he arrived, he had no manners and is still not house broken. He has the mentality of a kennel dog. When inside, he craps and lifts his leg at every corner. My desire is to get him placed into a home more suitable for his needs. I believe that he is a working dog, not well suited for my family and needs more training than I can provide. He needs more than I can give him and I live 200 miles away from help. He is simply out of my realm of experience. I am recently divorced, in college again to finish my BA in nursing, working to support my family and caring for my two small children. I was so upset with Laura over the amount of time that it took her to ship Rocky to me, that I refused to pay her for his shipping and that is why I don't have his papers. She asked me to not tell you what had happened as she was worried about it affecting your friendship. Up until now, I honored her request but, now I must make you aware of my situation. I was very upset over the amount of time it took Laura to ship me the dog therefore, I did not pay her for the cost of shipping. As a result, I do not have his papers and I need them. I am not asking for my money back from you as, I do not feel that Eurosportk-9 is completely at fault for my current situation. However, I do need the papers in order to place him. I would like to give you the opportunity to take your dog back if that is what you desire because, I love animals. I would never do anything to the determent of a dog. It is not Rocky's fault that things turned out like this. Anyway, I am trying to place him in a good home in exchange for a puppy. I want a German Shepherd because, I need protection for myself and the children. If you want him and would like to trade him for a puppy, I want you to have the first choice, as he is your baby. However, if you do not, I have contacted a man in Missouri that is very interested and is willing to give me a puppy in trade for Rock. Thank you for your help, DSwanson

Hello, let me begin by saying that I am sorry for all of this mess that all these parties are going thru at this time, but I do have one simple question for DSwanson? I don't mean to step on any toes, and there are several posts about Eurosport and von Zoller. In your words, "When he arrived, he had no manners and is still not house broken. He has the mentality of a kennel dog. When inside, he craps and lifts his leg at every corner.""I am recently divorced, in college again to finish my BA in nursing, working to support my family and caring for my two small children." and then further down you also state, "Anyway, I am trying to place him in a good home in exchange for a puppy. I want a German Shepherd because, I need protection for myself and the children. If you want him and would like to trade him for a puppy, I want you to have the first choice, as he is your baby. However, if you do not, I have contacted a man in Missouri that is very interested and is willing to give me a puppy in trade for Rock." Now my question is if you do not have time to housebreak this dog you already have (and I don't know how long you have had Rocky), how are you going to have the time to take care of a young pup. Puppies require much more work, and it sounds like right now you have other priorities; you don't have the time to devote to a puppy. JMO Sincerely, Debbie

I sent this email to Laura when Dawn sent it to me. I asked her to fix this problem. I also thought it was strange that Dawn could not house train a dog in several months. If Dawn refuses to pay shipping and that was the deal with Laura- she needs to work it out with Laura. I would never sell a puppy or trade a puppy to someone who dislikes thier dog so much and cant house train him. I asked Laura to send her the papers so the man who was interested in Rocky would trade Rocky for the puppy. I think she is going to do that even though she feels dawn owes her money but she may be furious about all these posts. I dont know. I asked her to as a favor to me even if she feels Dawn owes her. I was trying to nicely work it out for Dawn and then all this started. I never answered Dawn because I thought Laura would and I was wrong. I dont know what happened between them or what was agreed upon so I thought I should ask Laura to fix this problem one way or the other. I feel bad for Rocky and I will do everything to try to help him get into a home who cares about him. My fault was not answering Dawn a couple of weeks ago when she emailed to let her know I am trying to help. laura is a sweet woman just messed up.

I haven't even purchased a dog from Eurosport but have asked many questions and prices on a few different dogs and I always get a response back. Even when Taunya was out of the country, she would send me a message via her blackberry. I have found her to be very nice, helpfull and knows about her dogs. If she doesn't she will ask Joseff and get back with the info later. I think all of these posts are overkill and it is unfair to hold Taunya accountable for another persons actions. Sure you are upset and want a fix but lashing out at everyone around isn't going to help your cause. The person who bought Rocky doesn't sound knowledgable enough to own a GSD or have time to train a young dog, with all that is going on in her life. I wouldn't send her a replacement pup either. However I would give a refund and take the dog back before he is totally ruined for any productive use. Sounds like Taunya is doing all she can on her end. She is hardly obligated to find the pup a new home and square everything up financially.
