I really try to answer all my emails and be totally supportive of everyone in the sport- not just our customers. If I missed someones email_ I am really sorry and I will be happy to repond if I get an email from you. There is only one thing that will keep me from answering and that is if I dont want to sell a dog to the person because I feel that it would be a bad home. I seem to try to ignore unsuitable homes rather than saying" I dont think you are nice to your dogs so I am not selling you one." I really try to be sure our dogs having wonderful loving homes and are well suited for the environment in which they are placed. I will comment on the dog at Lauras for 7 months when I get back from tracking. Only 1 and half hour left of light left in Europe. Taunya Eurosport k9

>>>>>>>>>>>>>I feel that it would be a bad home. I seem to try to ignore unsuitable homes rather than saying" I dont think you are nice to your dogs so I am not selling you Thats a hell lot of ridiculous statement to make just based on Gut feel and Intuition about people who may be more good that yourself. Without gathering facts how can you come to conclusion that "THOSE" homes are not good. Have you done any factual decision making? On the contrary since people around you have given you the status of the torch bearer of the breed its all the more your responsibility to propogate good ethics amongst These homes you call bad and creat a level of awareness of good dog ownership.

I do research before I sell a dog. I care where they go. I am sorry you are so hostile. I would like to know who I am speaking to. I ONLY do factual decision making and we take lots of time with customers. If someone wants to buy a brood bitch- for example- and they tell me she will be part of the family and I find out through friends that the customer is lying and really has 15 brood bitches all in kennels with no personal attention- I would not sell the bitch there. Here it goes>>> Im Vikram, I contacted you some time back about a bitch for my male I wanted an 8 week female puppy. You never bothered to reply to my single email. I shot off I think 10 emails to you. You then directed me to a sales agent who was equally discourteous. After much email exchange the sales lady directe dme to Old farm kennels which I think you know better what calibre dogs they sell!!! I live in India I own dogs from some of the finest Eurpoean Kennels and I think I know Little bit about dogs if I may say so:). Please don;t do the same dealings with others the way your "Company" treated me. I have actually got my bitch from another kennel now and do not require a dog from you anymore. I thought of you because you are so well known and I wanted a dog from your kennel because people speak so highly of you. Good Luck

Now I know who you are. You are correct, I did not want to sell a dog to India. I dont have any reference on you. I dont know anyone who knows you. I spoke to Josef about this when you emailed because it bothered me not to answer you but it would bother me more to send one of my puppies to a place that I have no idea about. I know you are furious about that but try to look at it from a compassion for animals stand point. Many breeders will sell their dogs to anyone who has money. We are not like that. We hand raise our pups and we are very attached to them so we only sell them to people we know or have referal on. I sell dogs all over the world but we know people all over the world and I am sorry I dont know you. I am sure you are a wonderful dog owner and I am really sorry I hurt your feelings. I was afraid you were a dealer. Many countries have dealers that come to Slovakia to buy puppies of all breeds and take them to Russia or wherever and noone knows or cares what happens to those puppies. The conditions of some of them are heart breaking. Taunya

well, i can say in all honesty, that if someone contacted me wanting an 8 wk old puppy and already had intentions of breeding it........well, i probably wouldn't answer them either. at least that's the way i would interpret it....."a bitch for my male." is there any other way of interpreting it? breeding is something to be planned if things work out: general health, temperament, hip xrays, training, titles, working ability, show prospects, etc. but to inquire about an 8 wk old "for my male" well, that sends out red flags in my mind. sorry, but it sounds like you intend to breed her irregardless of whether she turns out well or not. pjp

I use research and "gut instinct" making my decisions on who I will let have my precious dogs as well. SS

Twice I have contacted Taunya and have received nothing but prompt and polite responses. She was very helpful and explained costs right up front. Unfortunately I couldn't handle those costs at the time because I wouldn't have hesitated to purchase a dog from her. I made a decision awhile back to not go through a "middle man" after reading so many posts about bad experiences. Paperwork and people can go the wrong way real fast.

by VomMulhank9 on 24 December 2007 - 02:12

Vikram, I see nothing in the wrong in what Eurosportk9 and old farm kennels does and feels in there decision making on owners of the dogs they sell to people all over. Also I have dealt with old farm kennels as well and have been to their facilities. They take much pride and care in their dogs and also feel out their customers before they sell them. I have world class lines new and old in my females. I also wouldn't sell you a dog if that was the way you approached me either about buying a female pup. Breeding is a art and not a money making event. Old farm kennel puts alot of time and history and research in there breeding program. Perhaps you should apologize to them and maybe you will learn something from old farm kennels and eurosportk9 instead of being in the wrong and going off half cocked. These people have many many years in this breed and are not newbies and have perfected what they do, there are not many out there that know this breed inside and out like they do. Also remind you this website is for information and not a slug fest, if you have issues take it up with people privately. Anyways Merry Christmas to the people that KNOW WHAT THERE TALKING ABOUT ! Merry Christmas Vom Mulhan K-9
