zender , K9 Solutions Center schutzhund and IPO , VPG , rules are 100% the same now there is no difference from IPO, VPG , SchH . There used to be some small differences but as of 2001 or 04 (I think this was when it was changed to all being the same rules )

From what I have found, most people who do not have GSDs prefer to list their titles as IPO and those of us with GSD prefer to use SchH. If you are in a DVG trial you will get an IPO title. USA trials offer both IPO and SchH. I was the trial secretary in FL a few weeks ago, and we offered both titles. All of the GSDs entered for the SchH and the Mals, Dobie, and Bouviers all entered for IPO. There used to be different rules especially in protection, but now they are all the same. Some people like to add numerous titles to their dog's name also, so you can have a GSD vom Wherever, SchH8, IPO5, FH9 etc.
