Ok Sue your not funny. As was pointed out some may call it Shuffling Gait. He is now eight months. He has not had any sign of pano for at least six weeks, so Im not sure if this is learned from favoring front legs. Anyone know if he will out grow this or can I work it out of him.

Please, does anyone have any experience ... As im sure you can tell this is my first go around with a showline. The rest of my crew from birth were very hearty healthy dogs, this little guy is killing me. chris

He's an 8 month old pup with Pano, if he is walking funny I'd say he is still in pain. What do you mean he has no sign for 6 weeks? If he is limping/shuffling he is compensating for something. Maybe the pain has moved to another leg?

I had an Am-bred male GSD (gorgeous dog) who developed pano at 4 months. By way of compensation, he began to have a terrible pacing gait (also know as an "amble"). It was almost impossible for a handler to lift the dog out of his pace in the show ring. When he was about 3 years old (no longer in pain), I "gave" him to the late Bob Penny as a companion for his wife.
