echo vom haus wutevedr is NOT a daughter of Gabi vom Arolser Holz! I don't know who uploaded the pedigree information on this dog, but am asking whomever did so to please remove Gabi's name from the pedigree posted ASAP. The Gabi x Eagle litter isn't even due to be born until January '08, and will carry my kennel name, E-litter "vom Frauengarten" when they are born.

not the offspring of Eagle either. I removed him, now she has no parents. But, the kennel name "wutevedr" (whatever?) - troll.

Beware the trolls! Seems some of them have 'way too much time on their hands. Pity the poor
echo vom haus wutevedr, with no parents, no birthday... ;)
Glad I found the mistake. Neither Eagle nor Gabi want or need any illegitimate pups floating around the web!

Apology received and accepted. Seems some people hadn't yet figured out the very handy "mating check" feature on this website yet.
I love it, myself!

Shelley; Click on Change History ...it ought to tell you who made any changes...

The person who made the changes apologized to me privately. Seems they were trying view a preview of the pedigree of the mating of my Gabi and Molly's Eagle, didn't realize there is a "mating test" feature on this database, so created a "preview" puppy so-to-speak. No harm done, I'm just glad I caught it. The REAL Gabi x Eagle litter is expected mid-Jan. It will be the E-litter vom Frauengarten. We are excited, looking forward to when the happy day arrives.
I have always liked and admired Eagle (What's not to like? ;) I saw quite a few Lord progeny working in Germany years ago, many with Baldur and his wife, some very good dogs from Wilden Rabbits. Of all the DDR dogs he was easily my favorite, bringing structure, substance, very high drives, hardness, but still compliant, not too handler aggressive. Eagle, through his great father Alk, displays/demonstrates all these qualities, and a better looking dog than his daddy in the bargain. The Lord x Marc x Fero (Fero 3,5 in this litter) cross has been done in past with good results, but all those dogs have been gone quite awhile, so its getting harder and harder to find breeding partners with those dogs not too far back in the pedigrees.
I never make a breeding without a lot of serious research into what the extended family from both potential breeding partners have produced in the past with similarly-bred dogs, not just as far as titles & championships, but soundness, conformation, longevity, FERTITILTY (a bitch who only produces a couple of 1-2 pup litters doesn't have much impact on the breed as a rule). I always have an eye on the future of my breed program, consider what line-breeding a pup from a litter I bred will produce with pups from dogs I already have and might breed in future, and THEIR progeny. I am considering breeding my Portia vom Haus Roecker to Eagle while he is still fertile, to make a line-breeding on Harro 4,5 and Greif Lahntal 5,5, two of my all-time favorite line-breedings in one convenient package, and bring a bit more of Molly's strong, excellent producing old female Xinerobella Tiekerhook (Fero x Harro dgtr) up here to my neck of the woods. :)
If anyone else is interested in a preview of the E-litter, I'll save you some trouble and just post the link here :) http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/para.utkoma?fadir=128127&modir=438580
