I need the metal pan for the bottom of the crate. Not the plastic ones. Thanks.

why

Because the cheap plastic ones crack too easily. They're fine for puppies but once they get a little bigger the darn thing cracks and eventually breaks. I bought crates a few years ago and they came with metal pans. Now if you buy one it comes with the plastic. None of my dogs will go in the crate unless they have the runs or something unexpected. But that is definately not the time to deal with a cracked crate pan! :)

i understand the pan issue i was wondering why ? always hits enter instead of tab...

I cut a pre-measured piece of Luan board (thin light plywood would also work), and cover it with vinyl flooring remnants that i purchased from a flooring store. Extend the vinyl about 1/4" beyond the board on all sides and then cover the bottom also. If urine gets a chance, a will soak into the wood, so you must be sure to cover it well. Use floor glue to adhere it to the board and to seal the edges. Dont over apply around the edges or you will find a big mess! If sealed properly, you will get years of use out of this!

LOL jade I started the thread once and hit enter after the topic. Which only posted the topic with no message. This is the second posting where I actually put the subject. If you scroll back you'll see the other one. S.F.=The only thing that worries me is if there's a case of the squirts and it spills over the edge? Do you think it would work to put a raised trim on the outside before the flooring? I just got my pup through a case of Giardia so am PARANOID about that.

jade, I was wondering the same thing. I guess there are different keyboards available but isn't the tab key usually on the far left and the enter key on the right? "Always" hitting the wrong key is a sign of something wrong. allaboutthedawgs, maybe you should see a doctor.

K9hooligan I know it's probably just coincidence that you show up whenever Wally get's in over his head. And it's admirable that you want to jump in there and help the old crossdresser, but it's kind of obvious.

:) HaHa. Okay, so now I am Jasw 1701, K9hooligan, HDroadglide, Preston, and whoever else does not see things your way. Too funny. Oli could answer those questions for you, I am sure. Email him. But you won't, as you avoid the truth like baths. Talk about coincidences, I have often wondered why you, 4x4rack and sickincc ALWAYS show up in tandem. Coincidence? And on the subject of this thread. Can't you figure out anything for yourself. You are so helpless. Get a man in your life. It will be easier to get by from day to day, if you have someone to do the thinking for you. Talk about never having anything of substance to provide to this forum. Ha.
