Sitting here at work finishing some reports and listening to someone going ga-ga over trying to buy a Christmas puppy for his daughter... :(... andyhow,, everyone around is gawking over the cute puppies (including designer mixes) on this website .. http://nextdaypets.com Im trying to swallow my vomit instead of displaying any outward signs of repulsion. With phrases being used such as "this is definately where im buying a dog" & "how do i get it? do they mail it to me?", it just goes to show the commerical appeal that any marketing plan can create. I tried saying a couple of things like, "pick a breed thats right for everyone in the house,,," & Christmas puppies arent such a good idea.." & "I have some expreince with this, want some help"... but it fell on deaf ears. So now I will shut up and let this person pay $900 for a "puggle" or a "boggle" (Boston x poodle cross). Its useless, there is nothing we can do. Check out this site.. http://nextdaypets.com

Interesting to note the list of GSD breeders associated with that site.

Yes. And some even guarantee "temperament". Right.

Many breeders were probably on that site long before the designer breeds were, and I (for one) do not surf all the OTHER breeds before advertising on any site. Just because a person advertises somewhere does not make them an associate with anyone else or that site, nor an "affiliate" of that outlet to advertise their dogs. That's just like saying anyone who advertises in a particular newspaper is affiliated with others advertising there - including the so-called "massage therapists" and lonely hearts.

A match made in heaven. Impulse buyers and the petset breeders who love them, cater to them & depend on them. I know many of the breeders on the site are extremely reputable and would never sell a puppy that way, but not all of them.

My bad. I take it back and apologize to the reputable breeders.

Hey I just got myself a Boston Terrier male. I bet I could find someone local with a Poodle. Doesn't matter if she doesn't have papers because he doesn't either. I didn't realize I had such a little money maker on my hands. Anyone in MI interested? Doesn't even have to be a Poodle...maybe a Rat Terrier or something like that? Oh hey...a Pitbull/Boston might be interesting. She'd carry the pups easier too!

I'm thinking that a better idea is to get rid of his testicles A.S.A.P or Xandor is going to have B.T. for lunch.
