My little dog is working on 12 months. My experience with Malinios is they get about as tall as they are going to get @ 12 months. The generally (except the larger boned males) don't get a whole lot wider either.

Is it different with GSD's? Is my dog going to grow up, wider or longer? Is there another growth spurt somewhere between 14- 18 months?

She is slightly long and has rear angulation don't know if that matters or not?

So to tie in with question #1. Is it possible that chiropractic adjustmetn combined with another growth spurt will greatly improve or eliminate my dogs outward objective symptoms?

Gard-  My GSD pup is 8 months old and I asked my trainer how much bigger he thought he'd get (taller wise) and he told me he still had a few more months til he pretty much capped out on his height, might get another inch out of him, maybe a little more if I'm lucky ( but I doubt it).  He's started filling out more, a lot more so he doesn't look as funny looking to me now. lol  He has more of the E German type look and in that respect took after his mother rather than my Agar.  I would have liked to have seen him get as big as his dad but I think he's gonna be smaller honestly.  I'd say about 12 months they pretty much are done growing taller and just start filling out more.  I don't know much at all about the Mal's as I'm not a big fan of their looks and high energy but I'd guess to say that they'd probably be the same as the GSD in growth spurts.

Once the "knuckle" has gone from the front legs, the dog had grown to his maximum skeletal height, but the development of the body continues and can add an inch or more to the height in the mature dog, as can firming up of the pasterns.

What does it mean "knuckle"? Is it to do with the joints not seeming as out of proportion to the rest of the legs? As in "knobby kneed"?
