Elizabeth:
There is a blood test for allergies called the SPOT Test . It is done by Spectrum Labs. Have it done. You will then know what foods to avoid. In addtion to this, the SPOT Test will identify environmental allergens. These are harder to avoid. For info on the SPOT Test see:

Also, please note that sometimes a yeast infection is the primary offender & allergies are a secondary response to a yeast infection.
Go to :
to read about yeast infections & what to do about them. She has a yeast busters kit for dogs.
Basically to clean up your dog feed only things that are not on his allergy list, avoid the best you can the environmental allergens & check out the yeast connection as a primary source of an allergic response.
Keep feeding raw & avoid starchy foods ( grains, potatoes etc... ) if you have a yeasty dog.
Repeated use of combo vaccines are implicated in confusing the immune system. Once the immune system is confused it starts to identify natural things ie food as foriegn invaders, hence an allergic response results.
Instead of vacinating from here on get an anti body titre done to measure anti bodies to disease.
Last thing find a classical homeopathic vet to help you with all of this.
