Can a dog with white papers be exhibited at an SV show or are pink papers required? Thanks.

It's my understanding that a white papered puppy has the same rights as a pink papered puppy; the puppy just can't make VA.  You can still show, title and breed them.

I would assume that any dog that would stand a chance of going VA would be pink papered anyway. I believe a dog's parents must be KKL'd for the pup to be pink papered.

Also I believe if the dog/bitch with "white" papers gets a show rating and Kor, and if bred to a Kor'd dog, the offspring would have "pink" papers.

It sounds like the SV gives some leeway then and it's sort of optional whether or not one breeds to or from a dog without a Kor? Do many here really expect anything they breed will get the opportunity to place Va?  Pink papers are not needed in an unbroken chain in order to produce more pink papered progeny? I've always equated a breed survey with a Kor, now I see there is a very big difference.

Thanks to all for the information, I think I may finally get it
