hi every body,
the dehradoon dog show was held on sunday the 2nd december 2007. and what a show. stupendous. weather was just perfect though the noon for some time turned out to be a little warmer. but the show was just perfect. all arrangements were there. but there was one thing that was conspicious by its absence and that was - judging.
every enthusiast must have felt the "gorakh dhand", if i may say so, that was going on there "khulle aam" specially in gsd and labrador rings. how could we go against all the norms of justice. a particular incident, for example, was awarding of cc to a black labrador dog handled by some fat guy with hat on his head. later on it turned out that the fat guy is very close to ring steward with golden moustaches. there were so many good dogs but no, if this particular guy has his ways, even a champion dog can be made out to be a just ordinary dog. and what was honourable judge doing there. Simply allowing ring steward to take command from his hand and award and announce cc and rcc to any tom dick and harry. wow, what a way. why do all this drama? the not so linked persons will never understand why an opportunity is snatched away from their hands despite the fact that they have equally good dogs.
so many deserving gsd bitches were ignored with the only purpose of pleasing some personaly from punjab. why this biased judging. so many dogs and bitches were just not given a second glance. but dogs from this particular man were praised. its not that they were not good. they were good but there were, certainly, very many other dogs equally good and some even better, but no, our judge sahib ignored every body. Asha's Baghi was in every respect, repeat in EVERY RESPECT, was way ahead of some imports. but who cares.

Bob was also there. and Bob is born to win if not to produce well. well, that's another issue. but certainly, bob did show how to steal hearts.
