I switched my pregnant female from pmi to chicken soup. I am sorry I did. I have never bred on the food, so I got nervous. Has anyone had luck breeding with PMI? I know they sell alot and dont advertise.

After going to the website to take a look at just what PMI is,  or in this case isn't; I just have to say that this stuff is just not what I would call a "premium" dog food, not even close...Check out the ingredients and go from there, you don't have to be an expert to see that this is just regular dog food all dressed up to look like something premium...You want premium dog food; use Orijen like we do and check/compare the ingredients if you have any doubts...My girl (CORA VON HAUS WINHEIM) gets 3 1/2 cups a day and has a beautiful almost shed free coat, no skin problems and best of all her poops are solid and have little odor...No gas ever...

We also tried using Chicken Soup for the Dog Lovers Soul as it is a premium dog food that is readily available and not that expensive only to find that the dogs ate it but had very loose smelly poops that were hard to clean up...Forget the smell and the gas problems they had...

We have been using Orijen for about 4 months now and couldn't be happier and my little girl finishes her food every night and like I said has nice solid not too big poops,  2 times a day...

Not the last word on anything but I do know what "premium" dog food is or should be...Everyone has their own needs and or budgets I have nothing against RC, Solid Gold, Innova, Canidae and all the rest of the better dog foods out there ...Check out www.consumersearch.com dog food comparison and you be the judge of what is and what isn't...Its your dog...

I am just another GSD lover who wants the best for his dogs, nothing more and nothing less...

    Have a great day,

      Rob
